Should I Repair or Replace My Exhaust?

Many times an exhaust issue ends up costing hundreds of dollars in parts to repair. Here at Lou’s Custom Exhaust in Hyannis, Plymouth, Quincy, and Westport we custom fabricate our replacement parts saving you a ton of money in the process without sacrificing quality. Great examples of this are catalytic converter issues and front flex pipe section repairs. In most cases it is less expensive in the long run to repair the parts you already own rather than purchasing a new ones.  We are also great at fixing plow truck exhausts which typically have manifold/downpipe issues.

For example, the cost on a flex pipe replacement ran range anywhere from $400.00 all the way up to over $1000.00 (if it has converter(s) built in). Here at Lou’s we can repair the flex section instead of replacing the entire pipe for under $175.00, parts and labor, on all but a very few specific systems. Not only that but our flex, unlike any you buy aftermarket, will come with a 2 year parts and labor warranty

Our catalytic converter replacements can save even more. If you have ever had one done you know the cost is very high, usually over $1000.00 installed. At Lou’s most catalytic converter repairs cost you $300.00 installed ($400.00 for california emissions vehicles, the part costs more) saving you tons of money.
